macOS sees DJ Console 4-Mx audio as 2 separate devices:
- 1 device for the outputs,
- 1 device for the inputs.
A solution is to aggregate audio outputs and inputs in the same audio device, and us this aggregate device as audio interface in the DJ software.

1) Go in Applications > Utilities and run Audio MIDI Setup

2) If you do not see a Hercules DJ Console 4-Mx audio device with 4 ins / 4 outs, then click on the button + at the bottom left of Audio MIDI Setup window, and select "Create Aggregate Device"

3) An empty Aggregate Device is created.

4) Add Hercules DJ Console 4-Mx 4 ins and 4 outs in the aggregate device in checking, in the column “Use”, the device with In=4 and the device with Out=4.

5) Edit the Aggregate Device name in clicking on "Aggregate Device" in the left column: for example call it Hercules DJC 4-Mx 4/4.

6) You have finished creating, setting and naming the Aggregate Device.

7) Use this new audio device in your DJ software, select the audio inputs and audio outputs.
